Monrovia Trust

GENERAL DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY

The General Durable Power of Attorney gives a person the ability to appoint an attorney-in-fact (or agent) who will transfer assets to the Trust and who will make tax and property management decisions on your behalf if (or when) you become incapacitated. For example, this can be used for individuals who have property in their name and become disabled. Rather than having to undergo conservatorship, this document allows an agent to direct their assets and dispense with them as instructed.
